Thinking of going out to eat? It might not be as much of a risk as you might think!

This seems to me to be good common sense. However, the lack of links supporting many of the things said cause me to warn: Be a bit skeptical about this one!

Is it safe to eat at a restaurant during the coronavirus outbreak? Source: San Francisco Chronical via Mother Jones email. I don’t know if this is a free site, or one that limits you to only a certain number of free reads/month. 13 March 2020.

  1. Authors Note 23 March 2020:

I agonized a bit when I reviewed previous posts this morning. This post has now, in many parts of the world, been overtaken by events, specifically, by govenrment shut downs of dining it.

I decided to leave it up, but add this note for a couple of reasons:
    1) In many places, you can still patronize local restaurants – on a take out or delivery basis only.
    2) I still consider this to be good information. And it is still applicable where restaurants haven’t been closed or limited to take out only.
