Whew! This is the first article I’m linking based on a recommendation that came through this site – less than 30 minutes after I made it live and publicized it to NextDoor Neighbors, friends, and family!
It’s also very definitely a Long Read. Many parts are understandable with a scientific/technical background, but some parts assume some of that expertise – especially the various articles/studies/simulations that are linked in the article. For this reason, I’m putting it in both the “Longer Reads” and the “Scientific/Technical” categories.
